read more closeWith aired up tubes, fitted in gear (life jackets, elbows and knees paddings, and floaties for kids), listen to a safety briefing on the best way to get through the rapids and the river course.
Take a breath, leap off a narrow canyon unto the currents of the fluorescent Blue River. Float down to a pool where your guide will be waiting for you and get you on your raft tub and wait for the group -there will be two to four guides depending on the size of the group who will tub along with you helping you when you need it.
Hear the roar of the water flowing and, get ready for a heart-pounding adrenaline experience with moments to relax and remind you that life is precious!
Bob, splash, bump and flow downstream the river canyon with lush rainforest jungle!
Lean back, bump into towering rocks sending you into another direction, spinning back and forward, paddling to take direction, drop into water rapids or chutes, flow around fallen logs and tree roots and branches spooking out of the riverbanks. In between the little lazy water, soak up the sun rays that can go through the thick rainforest jungle and enjoy the river canyon's.
The river only has one entry and one out point. So when you start tubing there is no way back rather than only forward. If you are lucky, recent rain makes for a fast and furious flow with an unforgiving bottom, so you will have a greater experience!
Logistics
A shuttle will take you on a 15-minute ride to the start point of the tubing.
You will carry your tube draft in and out of the river.
The colorful airhead tubes are covered and have handles and straps, plus cloth bottoms to help protect you from unexpected bumps to the backside.
Note: Depending on weather conditions. We may choose Cucaracho River to do the tubing. The Cucaracho River is at the confluence of the Blue River, Penjamo River, Black River. The hike from Cucaracho River to from the end point of the tour to the beginning is 30 minutes.
