Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival & Escape to Osa Peninsula & Frog Night Hike
Meet your bilingual driver at SJO airport in Alajuela and jump in a private van for a journey to the Osa Peninsula. Drive south by Jaco, Manuel Antonio, Dominical and further from Uvita until Palmar Sur where you exit toward the gates of the Osa Peninsula!

Pack your adventurous side, cross the Sierpe River and hike the Frog Trail at dawn see species of nocturnal reptiles, birds, butterflies, bugs, crabs, frogs and other amphibians. Trip includes experienced local guides, and round-trip transportation from your hotel.

Day 2: Snorkeling Trip to Caño Island
Strap on goggles, snorkel and life vest then jump into the water. Minnows and yellow/black striped sergeant major fish swim right up to your mask. Beneath you, fish straddle and wriggle colorful rock and coral outcroppings. Dazzlingly colorful parrotfish parole the bottom while butterfly fish swim below the shade of the rocks. Every once in a while, you may catch the shimmering flash from of a large blue jack speeding past.
You'll explore two different snorkeling areas varying in depth from just a few feet to 15 or 20 with a break to enjoy the Cano Island beach in-between excursions.

Day 3: Corcovado National Park – San Pedrillo Ranger Station Boat Tour
Frolic in the San Pedrillo waterfall pool while you wander in the old-growth rainforest and soft-sand pristine beaches - keeping your eyes peeled for the bountiful wildlife – of the San Pedrillo Ranger Station in Corcovado National Park.

Day 4: Glide Through the Mangrove Forest to Relax at Playa Blanca, a Deserted Beach in the Delta
Explore the mangrove forest canal and delta a peaceful wildlife paradise of water canals and golden-brown, black and white sand beaches. Glide through the Sierpe River mangrove forest, see iguanas sunning their cold-blooded bodies, colorful birds perching high and low, and spider monkeys leaping daringly back and forth across the river occupy the branches of tall Mangrove trees that surround you.
Relax, soak up the sun, play in the waves or stroll the white sands of Playa Blanca! Let the captain know when you feel ready to return to your hotel!

Day 5: Choose One Free Activity & Escape to Arenal
Manuel Antonio National Park Self-Guided Walk Grab a towel, a pair of binoculars and some hiking shoes and discover Manuel Antonio National Park on a self-guided walk and end it playing in the waves; you'll want to cover as much ground as you can to explore the park's beaches, secondary and primary rainforests, mangroves, marshlands and rocky islands. Manuel Antonio Beach, the park's most popular destination, is a stunning tropical cove featuring white sands, and crystal blue waters.
Or,
Nauyaca Waterfall Visit Spring water tumbles down the falls, over 140 feet, crashing into the plunge pool below. Underneath the first waterfall, whitewater clatters down the steps of a second, 60-foot cascade into a deep pond. It's the perfect spot for a swim after the horseback or truck ride through the rainforest on the Nauyaca Waterfall visit by truck.

Day 6: Hanging Bridges, Zip Line & Hot Springs and Escape to San Jose
The anticipation builds as you ascend more than 4,000 feet above Arenal in Sky Adventure's gondolas. Below you, Lake Arenal spreads out over the horizon while Arenal volcano looms above. From the observation platform at the top, you'll have incredible views of Arenal's peak and your first look at SkyTrek's zip lines.
Experience life in a tropical humid forest as birds, monkeys, and sloths up high in the upper part of towering trees where most of the flowering and fruiting take place, above water springs, by a waterfall bursting out of a mountainside, SkyWalk Hanging Bridges Trail.
After a day of adventure, unwind on hot springs pools and when you feel ready your driver will take you to San Jose or depending on your flight's departure time you may stay in Arenal and leave early morning to San Jose airport.
